Jimmy Shergill was born on December 3, 1970. He is also known as Jasjit Shergill and is an Indian actor who is a Punjabi. He is the uncle of Film Director Karan Kandhari who directed Bye Bye Miss Goodnight.

He debuted with Maachis and has also appeared in Mohabbatein, Dil Hai Tumhaara, Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai, Haasil, Dil Vil Pyar Vyar, Yahaan and Hum Tum, Tom, Dick and Harry, and Kehta Hai Dil Baar Baar

Some of his recent roles have been in the popular films Munnabhai M.B.B.S. and Lage Raho Munna Bhai

Jimmy also works in Punjabi movies. His Punjabi movies includes Yaaran Naal Baharan and the latest movie, Mannat.
