Aftab Shivdasani was born on 25 June 1978, Bombay, Maharashtra, India. He is an Indian film actor.

Aftab Shivdasani graduated from HR College of Commerce in Mumbai. Aaftab was a fairly well-known child star appearing in films such as Mr India, Shahenshah, and Chaalbaaz but first broke ice in Bollywood with a starring role in 1999's Mast. Aftab also won the Best Newcomer Award for his debut performance. Since then he has appeared in many films with mixed box office success. He has appeared in hits like Awara Paagal Deewana (2002), Hungama (2003) and Masti (2004).

Since then none of his films have done very well at the box office.

Aftab's parents are of different religious backgrounds. His mother is Muslim and his father is Hindu. He is also of half Sindhi descent. Shivdasani is currently said to be dating Czech actor Yana Gupta.
